empowering people to become self-reliant

ESR’s Golf Tournament Fundraiser

Experiment in Self-Reliance will hold a Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Friday, October 23, 2015 beginning at 9 am. The event will take place at Winston Lake Golf Course.

ESR’s Golf Tournament is a community fundraiser that hopes to raise awareness about poverty in Forsyth County and to raise money to support the services provided by ESR.

ESR’s first golf tournament in 2005 raised over $9,000 with support from community members. ESR has set the bar higher this year with a goal of raising $25,000. All proceeds will benefit Experiment in Self-Reliance.

Player registration is $70 for an individual and $280 for a team, and includes cart and green fees, breakfast, lunch, and a swag bag.

Registration and continental breakfast begin at 9 am. Welcome and rules occur at 9:30 am, and the shotgun start will begin promptly at 9:45. Tournament is Captain’s choice.

Mayor Allen Joines will be present to make remarks and tee off first.

ESR’s Golf Tournament is sponsored by Reynolds American, Peterson/Gordon Architects, BB&T, Holiday Tours, and Dr. Frank and Mrs. Dell James, and Pepsi. The tournament will be held at Winston Lake Golf Course, which is located at 3535 Winston Lake Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
