Empowering strength and resilience
ESR was chartered in 1964 and has served the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County community for over 50 years. We work to eliminate poverty and homelessness by helping people help themselves.
ESR is a Fair Housing Agency, an Equal Opportunity Employer, a Community Action Agency, and a United Way Agency.
Mission & Vision
To Provide temporary accommodations for the working homeless, and works to transition clients into permanent, affordable residencies. Our services are also invested in many community-related initiatives.
