In partnership with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Noble Grille, and Cycle Kings of Winston-Salem, NC, over 30 Experiment in Self-Reliance (ESR) clients were adopted for Thanksgiving this 2021 holiday season.

The Omega House, Noble Grille, and the Cycle Kings first contacted ESR wanting to give families in need the opportunity to share and experience a Thanksgiving meal. ESR case managers then contacted the families and arranged for COVID-friendly delivery or pickup. Boxes were filled with Thanksgiving meal ingredients for the families to prepare. 

Donors, clients, and ESR staff were put into the holiday spirit of generosity and gratitude. Clients expressed their appreciation for the unexpected donation: “This was a blessing! Thank you, ESR!”

ESR would like to give a special thanks to the Omega House, Noble Grille, and Cycle Kings of Winston-Salem, NC for their generosity and kindness this holiday season.
