The VITA Assistant Coordinator closely coordinate the development of outreach materials for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) campaign, free tax sites, financial education, and Individual Development Account (IDA) Program for Forsyth County and their partners.
The EITC Site Coordinator will coordinate the free tax site, making sure that the site runs smoothly. The Site Coordinator solves any problems as professionally as possible keeping in mind that the clients are the top priority. The Site Coordinator assures that all services rendered to the clients are done so in an atmosphere of respect.
The Individual Development Account Success Coach will be responsible for all direct work with IDA clients. This individual will work closely with clients to achieve their benchmarks in the IDA success plan, by providing timely and appropriate counseling, intervention, and support, in order to assist each client in successfully completing their success plan goals and objectives. The Success Coach will be cross-trained in the areas of housing/home ownership programs, economic literacy, and social work.
