Meet our new Self-Sufficiency Program Manager!

Meet Melinda, Self-Sufficiency and Family Advocacy Manager

Our Self-Sufficiency Program has a new manager!

Ms. Melinda Hash began working at ESR more than ten years ago as a Housing Case Manager before moving with her family to Virginia to teach and pursue her master’s degree. A new opportunity for her family brought her back to Winston-Salem and to ESR, and we have been delighted to have Ms. Hash back on our Housing Services team for the past four years. In August 2022, Ms. Hash assumed the role of Self-Sufficiency and Family Advocacy Manager and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Ms. Hash earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration from Winston-Salem State University and her Master’s degree in Education from Cambridge College. In addition to her experience in education, Ms. Hash has worked in the non-profit industry for over 20 years. She brings a wealth of knowledge around education, non-profit management, and our community.

Ms. Hash will serve as the primary contact for our Self-Sufficiency Program going forward. If you have any questions, please reach out to her via phone at 336-722-9400 ext. 154 or via email at melinda.hash@eisr.org.
