Once again, ESR is participating in #GivingTuesday activities to raise unrestricted funds! As part of our #GivingTuesday this year, we’re having a stew cook off here at ESR, where the public can come in, have stew with us or bring a stew, take a tour of our building, and help ESR raise much needed funds to support our services!

WE NEED YOUR HELP

  • This year, we are asking board members and staff to donate a pot of stew for Giving STEWSday!
  • Stew may consist of any type of soup or chili and may be dropped off the afternoon of Monday, November 26 or the morning of November 27.
  • Please send stew in a crockpot!
  • Sign up to bring a stew by Wednesday, November 21
  • Please invite FIVE people to join us for lunch on Giving STEWSday! The cost for lunch is $8 ahead of time, or $10 at the door.

WHAT TO EXPECT FOR GIVING STEWSDAY

  • Contestants will be recognized for Best Tasting, Most Creative, and Best Vegetarian Stew
  • Attendees will be the judges of the stew!
  • Lunches consist of stew, cornbread, a drink, and dessert
  • There will be a Giving Station where you can donate to ESR directly or pledge to donate over time. You can also challenge someone else to donate as well and we will post your challenge to Facebook!
