ESR’s VITA site is open, preparing tax returns for low to moderate income taxpayers. COVID-19 restrictions have virtually shut down our Forsyth Free Tax program until recently. We are now able to reopen the Forsyth Free Tax VITA program to the public at our ESR site only. Please understand that we are still maintaining safety practices in our building, including:

• No more than 10 persons (including staff) may be in our lobby.
• No more than 10 persons (including staff) may be in conference rooms, including the board and training rooms. (This includes our computer room, where tax preparation activities occur).
• We request visitors to our building (and our staff) maintain 6 feet social distancing.
• We clean surfaces regularly.
• Masks are required.
