PRIORITY SCHOOLS
Ashley Elementary, Petree Elementary, Easton Elementary, and Forest Park Elementary

PURPOSE OF THE PRIORITY SCHOOL PROJECT
to strengthen the involvement of parents and guardians not only in activities at the school, but also with their children at the school;
and to aid parents in becoming self-sufficient economically and socially.

PRIORITY SCHOOL IMPACT
focuses on intensive early intervention;
targets proficiency gaps among lower performing schools;
Funds programs and strategies with proven success in other school district;
And will be evaluated over six years.

PROJECT STRUCTURE
First Priority: Needs Assessment
Second Priority: Case Management/Success Coaching
Third Priority: Educational Training
Fourth Priority: Financial Literacy Education
Target: 140 total enrollments (35 per school);
Expected Program Length: 3 years;
Short term educational program completion leading to immediate employment;
2 required contacts per month;
Contact includes in person, virtual home visits, and telephone.
