ESR Launches New Website

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Winston-Salem – Experiment in Self-Reliance has launched its new website devoted to providing current and future clients and partners information about its services.

The new website allows users to sign up to volunteer, learn about internship opportunities, and donate directly through the site. Additionally, users can learn about current happenings at ESR and around the community through their blog, and find out and sign up for their events.

The website offers information about what is needed for clients to qualify for an individual program, as well as useful resources to make their experience as easy as possible. For the first time, potential clients will be able to download and fill out their IDA application, submit it, and pay their IDA application fee all online. Other programs, such as Forsyth Free Tax, offer a listing of the dates, locations, and times for free tax services during tax season. The website was created by Torrey Ferrell Creative.

Additionally, the website features two new logos, one for Housing Services, and the other for the Self-Sufficiency Program. “We are excited about making our agency more branded,” said Executive Director, Twana W. Roebuck. ESR houses four main programs, but only two programs had logos. Logos were created by Keith Spencer, owner of Nurture Creative.

“Our main goal through this initiative is to help more people. That is ultimately what we are all about.”

A special thanks to the Winston-Salem Foundation for providing funding for this project, Torrey Ferrell for website design, and Keith Spencer for logo design.

The website can be found at www.eisr.org.
