ESR’s Golf Tournament Postponed Again Due to Weather

Experiment in Self-Reliance (ESR) decided to postpone their Golf Tournament fundraiser which was scheduled to take place on November 2, 2018. The original date of the tournament was scheduled for October 12, 2018.

The agency took the decision to postpone the event again due to thunderstorms expected for November 2. The event is rescheduled for the spring. The official date is to be determined. Registration will remain open.

ESR’s Golf Tournament is community fundraiser that aims to raise awareness about poverty in Forsyth County and to raise money to support the services provided by ESR.

Registration fee is $80 per player and $320 per team. All players will receive a cart and green fees, breakfast, lunch, and a swag bag.

The tournament’s gold sponsor is BB&T. The silver sponsor is Reynolds American, and Peterson/Gordon Architects is the bronze sponsor.

ESR is a non-profit Community Action Agency that works to empower people to become self-reliant. Programs focus on helping clients continue education, locate affordable housing, build financial literacy skills and assets, and receive free tax preparation.
